Our work

Plastering and ceiling restoration

Smooth plaster on a sloping attic wall and the restoration of an old ceiling in a period home, from exposed laths to a new, even surface.

Plastering turns rough walls and old ceilings into calm, even surfaces, ready for paint.

Attic wall and sloping ceiling

After insulation and cladding, the attic walls and sloping ceiling were plastered smooth. The result is a room that feels finished and is ready for painting. Sockets and the rooflight are neatly finished in the plaster.

Restoring an old ceiling

Many homes built before the war have ceilings of plaster on timber laths or reed, often with a decorative cornice. In this project the old ceiling was opened up. The laths and the original cornice are visible, and the ceiling was then rebuilt and plastered, keeping the period character of the room.
