This bathroom was designed around comfort and calm. Large-format tiles in a warm beige tone run from floor to ceiling, so the room feels bigger and has very few grout lines to clean.
What we did
- Complete strip-out of the old bathroom
- New water supply and drains for the new layout
- Walk-in shower with rain shower, hand shower and thermostatic mixer
- Freestanding bath
- Wall-hung double vanity unit in wood with a mirror cabinet
- Heated towel rail and new lighting
- Separate toilet with a wall-hung toilet and a compact hand basin
Why it works
The walk-in shower has no tray or step, which makes it easy to clean and accessible for the long term. For this to work, the floor needs a precise fall towards the drain and a reliable waterproof layer under the tiles.
