A full renovation of an older home starts with taking almost everything back to the structure, and ends with rooms that keep their character but have modern comfort. These photos show what that looks like.
The strip-out
In the first phase, old ceilings, floors, kitchens and bathrooms are removed. This is where you discover the real condition of the house: the beams, the walls, the old pipes and wiring. Any unexpected findings are discussed before we continue.
The rebuild
After the strip-out come the structure, new installations, insulation, walls and ceilings. In these homes the hallways and living areas received panelled doors, white skirting boards and panelling, which suit the period of the house.
The finish
An oak herringbone floor runs through the hallways and living areas. Calm wall colours, black steel-framed doors and recessed lighting give the rooms a modern, timeless look.
